WCCLS Calendar

This program pairs young readers with a registered Pet Partner dog-and-handler team, developing their reading skills in a non-judgmental environment.

Readers register in-advance for a 20 minute session. During the session, the child reads aloud the book of their choice to Angel, a standard poodle, in the storytime area.

 The dog handler encourages the child to interact with the dog, and may offer reading help if the child requests it.
