Almost all addicts started using as teens. Take some time to talk with local experts about substance use, its prevalence and why it's so important to educate ourselves. Washington County's Addiction Services, Beaverton Police and Washington County Sheriff’s prevention experts join Beaverton Together, a drug and alcohol prevention coalition to present What's happening in Washington County, including trends, stats, and prevention efforts. What are factors that cause teens to use.  What deters teen substance use. The effect addiction has in the local court system.   New prevention best practices, resources, and personal recovery stories will be shared. Aimed at parents, teachers, counselors, school administrators, coaches and anyone who serves youth.
