MUSIC PLAY: GROWING READERS ONE SONG AT A TIME

featuring Jim Gill's Family Room Tour

Recommended for kids ages 2-6.

Jim Gill’s concerts are an active blend of music and play.  He bangs out energetic rhythms on his banjo while encouraging everyone to clap, jump, dance and even sneeze along.  His unique approach to music is built upon a belief that family play is more important to young children than music alone.  Jim’s music play creates a family room in each and every concert hall he visits!

Jim Gill has released six award-winning CDs of music play and two books for young children.  In addition to being an accomplished musician and author, Jim Gill is also a child development specialist, having completed graduate studies in child development at the Erikson Institute of Chicago.  For more information about Jim and his music play for all young children, visit www.jimgill.com.
